Oh my God, there it was just standing there waiting for the right moment to attack! It started off as a horrible fear. Every time we would go to my uncle's house I would see them. Chickens. My uncle has a bunch of them in his yard. I would start yelling like crazy.
"Get away from me!" I screeched.
"Squawk!" the chicken croaked.
"Help Dad, the chickens are chasing me," I screamed.
"Stop joking around," Dad ordered.
The first thing that made me afraid of chickens was their size and how they stabbed me with their beaks. Every time I would go to sleep I would see chickens everywhere. The scariest thing about chickens is their horrible, big beaks. I would wake up and then I couldn't sleep again. After two weeks I finally told my parents. This helped me overcome my fear. They helped me out by telling me that chickens are like normal animals, and then they made me hold a real chicken.
Now every time I go to my uncle and auntie's house, I would actually hold the chickens and not scream. Now I know why I shouldn't be a chicken.
