THE STORYTELLING EXCHANGE

teacher working with a classThe Storytelling Exchange, Streetside’s original program, is a two-week program that helps 6th graders tell their own stories during language arts classes. Using storytelling and theater, we help young people write and share the stories of their lives. At the end of each program, every student completes a full-length written story. Stories are collected in a high-quality anthology, given free to each student.

My mom said, 'When you earn your own money, you will decide how long to jump.' Then my mom found me a job..."
