Streetside event STREETSIDE STORIES EVENTS

» Each month we host an introductory event for those interested in volunteering or simply learning more about Streetside Stories. Tell It Like It Is! is free, fun, and just one hour long. Join us for refreshments, stories and the facts about Streetside. The date and time of the next Tell It Like It Is! is listed below in our calendar.

Streetside de Young Event
Saturday, May 30th from 1-4pm
Kimball Gallery and Koret Auditorium

After an incredible year of programming, Streetside youth will be telling stories, showing movies and displaying their work in the beautiful de Young Museum. The event will welcome families and supporters, celebrate the release of our 2009 anthology- I Am a Story to Be Told (Streetside's first DVD/book combo!), and includes special guest Janice Mirikitani. Tell It Like It Is!

You are invited to a free, one-hour introduction to Streetside. Join us at our offices for refreshments, stories and the facts about Streetside. Tell It Like It Is! takes place every month, so if you aren't free this month, you can always join in later.
